The best place to farm Adamantite Ore was and still is Shadowmoon Valley. One 30 min session yielded me 63 Adamantite, 53 Fel Iron Ore, 7 Eternium Ore, 3 green gems, 60 Motes of Earth and 7 Motes of Fire. The zone is smaller than Nagrand, so each lap takes perhaps 12 minutes.

Zangarmarsh is by far the best place to get Fel Iron Ore (And quite a bit of Adamantite). It's VERY abundant there and it's incredibly fast. Western Plaguelands Western Plaguelands is also an excellent place to farm Iron, just don't go to Hearthglen because there is no ore there. Stick to route I recommend. These are the best zones if you want to farm Iron Ore. Once you are done mining Iron, go to my Mithril Ore Farming page!
